Description
Nice and Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat are only a few kilometers apart. But from the sea, it’s a whole different world. Aboard our RIBs, you’ll cruise along a coastline that cars never see: the legendary villas of Cap Ferrat viewed from the water, the hidden coves of Passable, and the sandy inlets nestled among the rocks and accessible only by boat.
Your local captain will share the history of this exceptional headland—the villas of the Rothschilds and Cocteau, and the estates of royalty—while guiding you to the Riviera’s most secluded swimming spots.
The bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer, one of the deepest in the Mediterranean, boasts waters of exceptional clarity, making it ideal for snorkeling. A moment of absolute serenity, just a few minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the Promenade des Anglais.
Limited to 12 passengers, in the afternoon or at sunset, depending on the departure time you choose.
Highlights of our boat tour from Nice to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat
From Port Lympia, Cap-Ferrat reveals itself in a way that car travelers will never see: the villas of the Rothschilds, Cocteau, and royalty, viewed from the sea. The harbor of Villefranche-sur-Mer, one of the deepest in the Mediterranean, spreads out beneath the hull: translucent waters, a rocky seabed, and an otherworldly hue.
Swimming breaks are planned in the coves of Passable and the secluded inlets surrounding Pointe Saint-Hospice, which are inaccessible from land. Crystal-clear waters, ideal depths for snorkeling, and absolute tranquility. These are the most pristine spots on the Riviera, reserved for those who arrive by water.
The outbound or return voyage takes you past Beaulieu-sur-Mer and its golden beaches, then along the Baie des Anges as you approach Nice. Your captain will share the history of each villa, each headland, and each cove. With a maximum of 12 passengers, you’ll have exclusive access to the most secluded anchorages.
We recommend arriving at Port Lympia in Nice 30 minutes early due to traffic and limited parking along the waterfront. If you miss your departure, your ticket is neither exchangeable nor refundable.
We reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event in the event of inclement weather.
The captain reserves the right to modify or shorten the tour in the event of adverse weather conditions or inappropriate behavior by a passenger that jeopardizes safety on board; such changes shall not give rise to any claim for compensation, refund, or rescheduling.

Frequently Asked Questions
The tour departs from Port Lympia in Nice, at Pier G04. The trip to the bay of Villefranche and the coves of Cap-Ferrat takes about 20 to 30 minutes, depending on conditions.
We sail past the private coves and secluded bays that surround the cape: deep blue waters, legendary villas glimpsed from the sea, and sheer cliffs. We’ll stop for a swim in coves that are inaccessible from land, where the water is at its clearest.
The Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat tour stays along the coast between Nice and Beaulieu-sur-Mer, with a shorter cruise that focuses on the coves around the cape. The Monaco tour continues on to the principality via the seaside town of Èze: it’s longer and includes more destinations. Both tours depart from Port Lympia.
